I work slowly, on purpose.

Each bag is made by hand, one at a time, with time left in the process; time to notice, to adjust, to finish properly. I make no more than two bags a month, so the work can remain careful and the hands can remain steady.

​

There are no seasons or collections to move on from. The designs are permanent, revisited and refined as understanding deepens. Change happens quietly, when it improves the life of the object.

​

At times, outside the permanent work, I make a single piece without the intention of repeating it. These one-off pieces are a way of exploring form, material or details, worked through once, then allowed to remain exactly that. 

​

These bags are made to be used, carried daily, repaired when needed and kept for years. The marks they gather are part of the design. Nothing here is meant to be replaced quickly.

​

This is a one-person atelier. The scale is small by design. Making fewer things, well, is what allows the work to continue with integrity over time.
